RUBEN SALAS PEREIRA, Ph.D. PRESIDENT/ STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
As President and cofounder of GCI, Ruben oversees the overall business operations and general planning of the firm with his partners. Ruben participates in all service areas overseeing pending and existing contracts and providing advice in strategic planning. As Structural Engineer, Ruben participates in the conceptual, design and supervision phases of complex structures, and as Project Manager, maintains all client relations in the completion of the designated high volume projects. With more than fifteen years of experience in construction and consulting engineering, he has enjoyed tremendous success during his career, receiving many awards. He has written and presented many technical documents and papers regarding durability of post-tensioned concrete structures, presented in seminars and congresses in USA, UK, Switzerland, France and Argentina.
